Stitch and Soil 2025 Goals: Growing, Creating, and Expanding
Hey Stitchlings!
As we dive into another year, I want to share my goals for Stitch and Soil and what you can expect to see in the shop. 2024 had its ups and downs, but this year, I’m pushing forward with big plans to expand my offerings, improve production, and move closer to making Stitch and Soil my full-time career.
Expanding Wearables: More Shawls, Sweaters & Misc. Accessories
Crochet is more than just plushies and small accessories—this year, I’m bringing more shawls, sweaters, and other wearable pieces to the shop! I want to offer cozy, stylish, and functional handmade clothing that stands out and lasts. Keep an eye out for new designs and possibly some limited-run seasonal pieces!
Investing in an Electric Spinning Wheel
One of my biggest goals is to bring more affordable, high-quality yarn to the shop. Handspun yarn is something I’ve wanted to offer for a while, and an electric spinning wheel will help me create more yarn in less time. This means:
-
More handspun yarn in stock for fellow fiber artists
-
Lower prices for my handmade yarn since I can produce it more efficiently
-
More options for custom colorways and fiber blends
This investment is a game-changer, and I can’t wait to share the process with you all!
Going Full-Time & Attending More Markets
The ultimate goal? Taking Stitch and Soil full-time. This means:
-
Attending more in-person markets and craft fairs
-
Expanding my reach beyond online sales
-
Making Stitch and Soil my main focus instead of a side hustle
Markets are a great way to connect with customers, showcase my work in person, and grow the Stitchlings community. I’ll be looking into more local events this year, so if you know of any great markets I should check out, let me know!
Your Support Makes This Possible
Every purchase, share, and kind word from you all helps me get closer to these goals. I appreciate every single one of you who has supported me on this journey. Here’s to a year of growth, creativity, and making Stitch and Soil bigger and better than ever!
Stay cozy and crafty,
Brianna
